Meet Dr. Sachdev
This practice has been serving the community for over 20 years.
Dr. Sachdev is an accomplished dentist, with her dental education right here in Long Island at Stony Brook University, residency at Lutheran Hospital, followed by hundreds of hours of continuing education focused on cutting-edge advances in the world of dentistry and patient care.
Dr. Sachdev was also a teacher and an attending dentist/supervisor at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, where she helped dental residents hone their clinical and patient management skills, and helped ensure that the next generation of dentists are not only proficient in dental procedures but also in human aspect of dental care.
Dr. Sachdev is a 4th generation dentist in her family, with her great grandfather being the first dentist from London, then her grandfather and her father. In India, her family has been known for practicing state-of-the-art dentistry, serving senior government officials and other celebrities. She brings the same dedication and professionalism to serve her patients in Long Island, as her great grandfather did 80–90 years ago.
Dr. Sachdev and her staff’s primary focus is on prevention and minimizing the need for complex dental procedures. She works with her patients to establish a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporates the patient’s dental needs and their economic situation, with the view to maximize the benefits of insurance coverage today while minimizing the need for complex expensive dental procedures tomorrow.
